Dave Blunt rehomed two cats from The Burmese Cat Club, with the help of his daughter. Blue went to live with Dave in 2016, and when Blue passed away, Dave took on Sammy Socks (originally Mr Wong Mau – a Burmese/Siamese cross). Both were love matches, and each were marvellous companions for Dave.
Sadly Dave died recently – Sammy Socks was by his side when he passed away in his sleep. The family have asked for family flowers only at the funeral, and any donations to be made to the Burmese Cat Club Benevolent Fund – in Dave’s memory. It is lovely that the importance of the companionship of this very special breed is acknowledged, and we are grateful.
