Jane, our Assistant Welfare Officer, took the trio to board with her early in the year because their owner was very sadly no longer able to care for them.
Jane handed them over to their new home just as lockdown was starting (a furtive drive along the A52!), and it has been a good time for the new owners to settle them and get to know them. There were definitely some frustrations (inappropriate marking!) during the initial period of being kept indoors, and short walks on harnesses (they had been used to free reign), but as the new owners became more confident of them (driven to distraction?) have let them out -and they are in their element – climbing trees, enjoying the sun, finding shady spots, giving and receiving lots of love and cuddles. The new owners are new to Burmese and have so enjoyed discovering their individual personalities.
